ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Jennifer! I'm 17, from California, and have just graduated from high school. I am so excited and grateful to have the opportunity to study Fashion Design at Parsons The New School for Design this fall! My dream would be having the privilege to show my work at New York Fashion Week one day.

I love the character of Sherlock Holmes because he gladly embraces his eccentricities and people similarly admire him for them, hence the title of this blog being called Art In Our Blood, which comes from a quote in The Greek Interpreter: "Art in the blood is liable to take the strangest forms." I like to think that everyone has a little art in their blood, and it doesn't necessarily need to manifest itself onto a canvas---fashion is another way we can outwardly express ourselves.

Regarding my photos, most of the time my younger sister helps take them for me but on occasion, I will use a tripod and wireless remote. I photograph with the Nikon D3000 and the 50mm f1.8 lens. For more on how I take my outfit photos, read my tutorial here.
